How to Send Chat Logs
Chat Log Sending Overview
Customers can obtain the complete transcript history of their live chat with agents. To retrieve chat logs, customers need to perform one of the following operations.
Sending Method During Active Chat
During an active live chat, check the “Send chat log to myself” option at the top of the chat window. Then, in the popup window that appears, enter the recipient’s name and email address, and click “OK” to complete the setup. After the chat ends, LiveAgent will automatically send the log.
Sending Method After Chat Completion
After the live chat ends, click “Send chat log to myself” displayed at the bottom of the chat window. Then, in the popup window that appears, enter the recipient’s name and email address, and click “OK”. LiveAgent will automatically send the log.
