POP3 Access Setup Guide for Google Apps Email Account

Overview

To integrate your Google Apps-hosted email account with LiveAgent, follow these steps.

Step 1: Set Access Permissions in Google Apps Account

Log in to your Google Apps account and grant access to your email account.

Step 2: Enable POP3 Access in Gmail Account

  1. Log in to the Gmail email account you want to connect to LiveAgent.
  2. Configure settings from “Settings” > “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”.

Important Note

Please wait approximately 30 minutes for Google to replicate these settings.

Step 3: Add Email Account in LiveAgent

  1. Log in to your LiveAgent administrator account.
  2. Select “Configuration” > “Email” > “Mail accounts” > “Add mail account”.

Post-Integration Behavior

All incoming emails to your Google Apps email account will now be converted into tickets and stored in LiveAgent.
